Hello, has anyone experienced a rash after having a HOCATT ozone sauna session? I had my first session, they set the dial to either 40 or 50
for the ozone, and 2-3 days later I got a rash on my face, chest, and back of neck. I was told that it was probably due to too high of a setting and/or my body was getting rid of toxins. I’ve read a few things since about this being a probable cause. This first happened back in March, about 6 months ago, and the rash lasted about a week. Now since that incident, I have had 3 allergic reactions to something causing a rash. But these rashes presented differently than the post sauna rash. I typically haven’t had many chemical sensitivities through out my life. Then having 3 over the past 5 months just seemed kind of odd to me. One of them I’m pretty sure I know what caused it but the other two I’m still wondering about. Now, can a person develop more chemical sensitivities after having a ozone treatment/sauna? The md office told me that next time they will use a lower ozone setting to try to avoid the reaction, but I’m kind of reluctant to try Incase I have a worse reaction to it. If there’s any insight to rashes and ozone please share with me.
